Meet The Cast
Our Dungeon Master, Shainsaw!
Class: All
Race: All "You are not entering this world in the usual manner, for you are setting forth to be a Dungeon Master. Certainly there are stout fighters, mighty magic-users, wily thieves, and courageous clerics who will make their mark in the magical lands of D&D adventure. You however, are above even the greatest of these, for as DM you are to become the Shaper of the Cosmos. It is you who will give form and content to the all the universe. You will breathe life into the stillness, giving meaning and purpose to all the actions which are to follow."
-Gary Gygax |
Scott Shain aka "Shainsaw" is a man who loves games, stories, and words. You can imagine how this led him to DnD like a moth to a flame. Shain has been playing DnD for over a decade starting back with 3.5 and eventually converting to 5e. He has ran a myriad of TTRPGs for the Lawful Stupid side project Uncle Shainsaw’s Tabletop Workshop and has a large stack of more games he eagerly awaits running. He is happily married to his Wife of two years Kayla “The Fairer Shainsaw” Shain and together they live with their adorable pupper princess Gadget, where they mostly sit around and wait for people to invite them over to play board games. Scott’s primary beliefs are that the unrelenting constancy of love and hope can rescue and restore you from any scope and that folks that play DnD have an innate need to be heroes, and that need does not go away when they step away from the table.

Finnegan Moorish, played by Devan
Race: Human
Class: Druid Finnegan Moorish was born into a fishing tribe on the Pulasa Isles. For as long as he can remember and his father has told stories, that’s what his people have been. They’ve never left the island. Not because they can’t, but because another tribe won’t let them. Finnegan can’t stand the injustice that presents itself, but is too weak by himself to do anything about it. Finnegan wants his family to break away from the same old life they know just because that’s the way it’s always been. He will seek to become the Tribesman, the leader of all the tribes on the Pulasa Isles, and make it equal for all people there. |
Barrett Skysong, played by Devan
Potential Spoilers!
Race: Appears Half-elven Class: Bard Barrett Skysong, who goes by Skysong, is a man of mystery. Well, not really. He loves to play music and hear himself talk. This Bard finds himself layers deep in the work of the Alliance and Resistance alike. Skysong is a changeling, a race not accepted by many, even those who are outcasts themselves. When Skysong is burned by the love of his life for revealing his true nature, he is approached by another organization who offers him a place. Feaux, as they call themselves, is an organization that is neither loyal to the Alliance or Resistance. Instead, they depend on both to be successful, offering their services to the losers, whoever that may be at the time. When we meet Skysong, he is currently working for the Alliance but posing as a spy for the Resistance. |
Devan works for the Army and is proud of the job he does. He works in operations and is often making the lives of his fellow soldiers much more comfortable. When Devan is not saving the world one phone call or email at a time you can find him with his family. Devan is a man of the church and often finds himself teaching the youth about God. He is a fitness fanatic (though ice cream proves to be a weakness), is an avid podcast consumer, and one of the best people we know.

Delmor, played by Dewayne
Race: Gnome
Class: Artificer Delmor is the leader of the Primal Knights and though scattered through strife he aims to bring the group back together in hopes of providing the world a platform to stand against the Scalenian Alliance. Delmor is often joined by his Iron Guardian wolf companion Ryder. The two are inseparable and together they venture forth as self-proclaimed last bastions of hope. |
Garrett, played by Dewayne
DeWayne has been playing DND for a little over three years at this point and it serves as a constant outlet for his narrative addiction. Worldbuilder gone awry he has fallen in love with the game. He has a beautiful wife and three beautiful children that he adores very much.
When he is not playing DND he is spending time with his family, writing, world building, or playing video games. His trade profession is Information Technology and he enjoys automation in all forms. You'll often hear him speak of efficiencies in his life. DeWayne often says he is the accumulation of the five people around him, and his people are freaking sweet. |
Perry, played by Ray
|
Ozlo, played by Star |
*Both Star and Ray parted ways with the podcast towards the end of Campaign 2: Adventure on the Sapphire Seas.
Both voice actresses and their characters will surely be missed!
Both voice actresses and their characters will surely be missed!
Race: Human
Class: Paladin While Peregrine, most often known as Perry, may not know her birth parents, she was never without family. She has spent the entirety of her life on the waves aboard the notorious pirate ship The Howling Rose, famous in these waters for its no quarter rule; one can join, or one can die. Sworn into the service of Iono, Lord of the Grasping Waters, as soon as she was old enough to understand her vows, she served as the ship's priest and, later, as second mate. A recent run-in with the Scalenian Alliance has left her apart from the ship, its crew, and most distressingly, her family. |
Race: Kobold
Class: Rogue Ozlo comes from an island inhabited by goblins, kobolds, and other such races that would typically be considered vermin. When the Scalenian Alliance invaded the land and enslaved the people, Ozlo did everything she could to rebel and rally her peers against them. When none of her efforts could shake the Alliance's hold, she stowed away on a ship and escaped to the open sea. Now she seeks to exact revenge on the Alliance and other "tall people" in whatever way possible. |
Savannah, also known as Star, started her tabletop journey back in 2012 with the Pathfinder RPG system. She played all the way through college, first getting her feet wet as a DM in 2014. Since then she has run games for Pathfinder Society both at her local game store and local convention, DragonCon. In 2016 she picked up 5e for the first time, and has now fully switched over to the new system.
Savannah loves spending time with her two furry kids, Kita the Shiba Inu and Monty the Corgi. When not working or playing D&D, Savannah is usually doing D&D inspired artwork, playing video games, or prepping for her next fantasy adventure. She has also been known to work the haunt at her local haunted house during the Halloween season. |
Audiomancy, created by Gingerloaf
Zack, most often called Ging in and out of podcast by the crew, has only recently (not recently now) been dragged into the world of Dungeons and Dragons by his lovely new wife, Abon. When he’s not working… he is still working! He is very passionate about creating video games and programming in and out of work, as well as casting audiomancy. When he does have time, he spends it with Abon and their furry children, Micro, Chip, Adrien, and Keket, or he is playing video games with his friends online. Ging couldn’t be more thankful for the Lawful Stupid crew since they have been the greatest of friends.
You can find more of his work here on his sound cloud! |
InkWeaving, created by ABon.Art
Alex otherwise known as Abon, has a bit of experience in D&D but she’s still learning the ropes. She spends her time with her recently married and butter half, Zack aka Gingerloaf, playing video games, teaching, drawing, arting, sleeping… procrastinating… HAH! She enjoys her time with her little family of two dogs, Micro and Chip, as well as Adrien and Keket the cats. Outside of doing art for the podcast, Abon works as a teacher, teaching little children how to be the best humans they can be for the future. She couldn’t be more excited to be working alongside the awesome crew and family of Lawful stupid.
If you would like to support the illustrious Abon you can do so by emailing her for a commission(though we keep her busy) or you could simply tip her on ko-fi! |
