Meet The Cast
Our Dungeon Master, Dewayne!
Race: Human/ Literary God
Providing the narrative and world the players experience the job of the DM is made much easier by the players' own abilities in game. As writer and world builder he is beyond excited for the players to explore the world he has created and for all the listeners to unravel the mysteries of Goarahn.
DeWayne serves as the DM and has much less experience than your average DM. Funny story, at one point another podcast was planned but it was premature in its birth. Dewayne's better half has recently said YES to a lifetime of nerdiness and late nights. Two beautiful children and a family the world is jealous of, he spends his time with his family. He is a workaholic whether that applies to his day job(which he loves) or the podcast you can almost always find him behind the keyboard of his Macbook. DeWayne often says he is the accumulation of the five people around him, and his people are freaking sweet.
Atlas Farrier, played by Devan
Race: White Orc (Full Blooded)
Atlas was abandoned by his orc parents to be found by a blacksmith and his wife. His new adoptive parents have given him a home he could never have expected. He went on to enroll in Battleborn College and graduate with a new found love for adventure and battle. Atlas seeks adventure in hopes his travels will lead him to find the very people who abandoned him long ago and to prove that he is worthy of this life.
Devan pulled his character name from his real life son. A tribute to the love he has for his family. Devan works for the Army and is proud of the job he does. He works in operations and is often making the lives of his fellow soliders much more comfortable. When Devan is not saving the world one phone call or email at a time you can find him with his family. Devan is a man of the church and often finds himself teaching the youth about God. He loves playing video games, is an avid podcast consumer, and one of the best people we know.
Kristoff Shendo, played by Scott Shainsaw
Kristoff is of royal blood. Exiled form his home he finds himself wandering the world of Goarhan in search of more than the average adventurer could imagine. A man of Silence and dignity he often finds himself in company of those in high station. Somewhat of a historian on the Arcane Wars his council is often sought for.
Scott aka "Shainsaw" is a D&D veteran of the 3.5 days. While he has converted to 5e to this day he remembers the old days fondly. Scott is graced by his beautiful wife and doggo. Both of which are accompanied by Scott's vast collection of nerd memorabilia, which our boys cannot contest. Scott is a what we would call a renaissance man. Not only can he create an entire world from scratch he can write a well crafted story as well, nerd, gamer, husband, and the list goes on and on. Frankly the list of things he is bad at, is shorter than the list of things he is good at. Scott is often the sounding board for our DM when mechanics, dispute, and overall thematics comes into play. This gives our players two DMs for the price of one.
Rowan Legato, played by Alex
Alex parted ways with the podcast towards the end of Campaign 1: The Doors of Goarahn. Both him and Rowan will surely be missed!
Rowan is a wandering bard from a beautiful island home. After off beat circumstances he left home to find something more valuable than anything else in the world, a purpose While he is more flippant than noble, Rowan has a heart of gold covered in fine whiskey. His angelic voice inspires courage and faith around the world. The only thing more magnificent than his voice, is the illustriousness of his hat.
Alex is our badass. He is a bucket of references and without a doubt one of the nicest people we know. Alex carries the podcast into the future one beautiful step at a time. It should be noted that Alex and Scott are like Mario and Luigi, though they would argue(possibly to the death) about who is whom.
Audiomancy, created by GingerLoaf
Zack, most often called Ging in and out of podcast by the crew, has only recently been dragged into the world of Dungeons and Dragons by his lovely fiancee, Abon. When he’s not working… he is still working! He is very passionate about creating video games and programming in and out of work, as well as casting audiomancy. When he does have time, he spends it with Abon, and their furry children: Micro, Chip, and Adrien, or he is playing video games with his friends online. Ging couldn’t be more thankful for the Lawful Stupid crew since they have been the greatest of friends since starting campaign one, season two.
You can find more of his work here on his sound cloud!
